Overview
In addition to two Diamond Star DA40, two Katana DV20, one DA20, one Cessna 150 and one Piper PA28 are available for powered flight. Except for the Piper, the planes are used both for training and for private flights.
With the single-seaters ASK-23, ASTIR CS, ASW-19, as well as the two-seaters ASK-21 and Duo Discus, all gliders are built in fiberglass construction.
The Saint Michaelisdonn airfield, which is beautifully situated on the 40 m high “Klevrücken”, is operated by the Dithmarscher Luftsportverein e. V.. For visitors who come by plane, we have the usual aircraft fuels ready. Our friendly flight attendants will be happy to give you tips for your tour of the surrounding area. Two electric cars are also available for non-flying activities.

The Dithmarscher Luftsportverein e.V. is open to all people who share the fascination of “flying”. The DLV trains glider and powered pilots on the club’s own airfield in St. Michaelisdonn. The modern aircraft park offers members the opportunity to realize their dream of flying.
